what is the least expensive but adequate Web Hosting company?

web hosting
fineDayguy asked:

I am in the process of planning a web site. I already own the domain name but not sure where to go next. I have some limited computer skills but do not know the first thing about desighning a web site. since i have a limited budget I would like to find a hosting company that is highly rated as far as adequate band width, and customer service etc. but will not break my pocket book on a monthly basis. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

I personally use 1&1 Internet for a couple of my sites. I’m not sure if they’re the least expensive, but they are very cheap - I get very good hosting with lots of features for around $5.00 per month.

Their website and administrative features are very user-friendly and it’s very easy to access your account for stats, email and other features. It’s also easy to set up FTP: I use MS FrontPage which allows me to upload and update my web pages directly from FrontPage to 1&1.

And 1&1 has other features too, like an affiliate program. If people purchase their services using your link, you make a commission!

That being said, if you’re interested then please feel free to click my affiliate link to visit 1&1’s website (rather than bypassing it):

Thanks - hope this helps! ;)

Hi

I recommend fasthosts.co.uk. Let me know how much you are happy to pay and i will create your web hosting based on your budget. I’ve got 2 dedicated servers from fasthosts so its not costing me at alll.

Also before starting your web design make sure you’ve done the keyword analysis and your web site designed SEO based.

Good Luck

The answer to your question can only be found through your own research. You have to keep your expectations in mind. What do you expect in features? How will you drive traffic etc? I suggest that you look at several hosting options. The more you look the better the fit. First compare feature-by-feature then dollar-for-dollar. This process will ensure that you get the best fit (most adequate) for your needs and the most value for your money. If you would like to look at one great option for comparison, you can have a look at the one I use personally.

BEST WISHES!

I recommend Dreamhost

They have the best price/value ratio:

1. You get a free domain from them (actually 2 if you use the promo code, more about that later), or you can use one of these free domains to transfer your existing one to Dreamhost, and extend its’ registration for one more year, all for free of course.
2. They have 500 GB of Disk Space and increasing
3. 5TB (5000 GB) of Bandwidth and increasing
4. You can use their huge Disk Space and host multiple sites on a single account.
5. Their price is $119.40/year ($9.95/month if you pay yearly)
6. Which is a pretty standard price but they currently have a promotion:
Use the Promo Code: PLUS (at sign up page) and get a $50 discount + 2 Free Domain Names
7. This brings price down to only $69.40/year ($5.78/month) which is a great value!
